Beauty and Cosmetology starts with hygiene, tools, and basic hair and skin care at JSS1, builds through styling, makeup, and salon practice across JSS2 and JSS3, and by senior secondary moves into advanced techniques, product formulation, and running a beauty business. Why does the subject move from theory to practicals and business as levels rise?
JSS levels build basic hygiene, tools, and simple techniques. SS1 and SS2 move into hair, skin, and makeup practice in more depth, and SS3 shifts toward entrepreneurship, salon management, and WAEC/NECO exam preparation.
