A Few Things Worth Knowing
Why does the scope widen so much by SS3?
SS1 focuses on Nigeria’s own pre-colonial societies, SS2 covers the colonial and independence period, and SS3 places Nigeria’s history within the wider story of West Africa and the African continent, including apartheid and pan-African institutions.
Does this scheme apply nationwide?
The core topic sequence follows the national NERDC curriculum, though individual schools sometimes adjust pacing around their own midterm and exam dates.
